Dear One Dress Community,

One hundred years ago today, the first International Women’s Day was held to rally women around the world to stand up for equality and dignity.

Tonight, as part of CARE’s campaign to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, the Empire State Building will be illuminated with CARE’s signature color — orange — to commemorate this important day in history.

You can be part of the 100th celebration, too. By making a gift of $100 — or whatever you can afford — you’ll help the spirit of International Women’s Day live on. You’ll also help provide poverty-fighting resources for impoverished women and girls all over the world.

Every day of the year, in 70 countries around the world, CARE works to carry out life-changing programs that empower poor women and girls to go to school, survive pregnancy and childbirth, earn a living — and so much more.

Please help carry on the spirit of International Women’s Day by making a gift of $100 — or whatever you can afford — today.

When you help empower a woman or girl, you give her the capacity to lift herself, her family and her entire community out of poverty. That’s something to celebrate! Thank you so much for your support.

Sincerely,
